Mido Watches Multifort TV Big Date Alebrijes M0495261108102

M049.526.11.081.02 - ∅ 39.2 x 40mm

  • Big date aperture
  • Power reserve up to 80 hours
  • Super-LumiNova® (indexes & hands)

Special edition (2 Extra Straps)

The MIDO Multifort TV Big Date Alebrijes M049.526.11.081.02 brings together MIDO's iconic TV-shaped case with a vivid celebration of Mexican artistic tradition. Created as a 2026 Special Edition for Día de Muertos, this distinctive timepiece features a captivating dial decorated with fantastical Alebrijes and a luminous Calavera, creating an expressive design that reveals additional details when illuminated in the dark.

At the heart of the watch is MIDO's Caliber 80 automatic movement, equipped with a high-tech Nivachron™ balance spring for enhanced resistance to magnetic fields and everyday shocks. The movement provides an impressive power reserve of up to 80 hours, allowing the watch to continue running for more than three days when fully wound. The signature Big Date display at 12 o'clock uses two separate discs to create large, highly legible numerals.

The distinctive rectangular 39.2 x 40mm stainless steel case houses a grey-gradient dial with intricate Alebrije and Calavera details. Super-LumiNova® on the indexes and hands adds a dramatic luminous effect in low-light conditions. A sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective treatment protects the dial, while the screw-down crown and transparent caseback reinforce the watch's combination of performance and mechanical craftsmanship.

The Special Edition is presented on a 316L stainless steel bracelet and comes with two additional interchangeable straps, allowing three distinct looks. The watch offers 10 bar (100m / 330 ft) water resistance and measures just 11.5mm thick, making it a versatile everyday mechanical timepiece while retaining the bold personality of the Multifort TV design.
