Seiko Astron GPS Solar Collection: SSJ014, SSJ023, HAB002, HAB005 & HAB006
Seiko Astron
Five GPS Solar Astron watches that set their own time and run on light, from a rose-gold-bezel SSJ014 to the pink and green HAB limited editions.
Seiko Astron GPS Solar watches receive satellite signals to set the time and time zone, and run on light. Lexor Miami has five in stock.
Quick answer
The five Seiko Astron GPS Solar watches at Lexor Miami are the SSJ014 ($2,300.00), SSJ023 ($2,400.00), HAB002 ($2,700.00), HAB005 ($2,900.00) and HAB006 ($2,900.00). All have titanium cases, sapphire crystals, GPS time-zone setting, a perpetual calendar and 10 bar water resistance. The SSJ models are 41 to 42 mm on Caliber 3X62. The HAB models are 43.4 mm on Caliber 5X63 and add a chronograph, world time and dual time. Lexor lists all five as in stock with limited availability.
How it worksA watch that sets itself
Astron is Seiko's GPS Solar line. The movement receives GPS signals to set the time and the time zone, and a solar cell keeps it running, so there is no battery to change. Seiko lists about six months of power on a full charge and about two years in power-save mode.
Automatic and manual time setting, with satellite connection and reception-result indicators.
About 6 months on a full charge, about 2 years in power-save mode, with a power reserve indicator.
Pre-programmed through February 28, 2100.
Seiko's stated accuracy without GPS signal reception.
All five also share a titanium case with a hardened coating, a sapphire crystal with a super-clear coating, LumiBrite hands and indexes, a screw-in caseback and an easy-adjust triple-fold clasp with push-button release.

Astron SSJ014
The smallest and most affordable of the five. A 41.2 mm titanium case holds a dark gray textured dial that Lexor describes as inspired by Seiko's original Quartz Astron, framed by a rose-gold-colored titanium bezel. Caliber 3X62 handles GPS time-zone setting, and the case is 12.0 mm thick.

- Caliber 3X62 · GPS Solar
- Dark gray textured dial
- Rose-gold-colored titanium bezel
- Sapphire crystal · 10 bar

Astron SSJ023
The SSJ023 is the blue one. Its dial has a fine sand-grain texture meant to evoke a planet's surface, in a blue Seiko compares to Earth seen from space. The two-layer bezel (pure titanium and aluminum, per Seiko) shows the lower layer through six notches, and the hour and minute hands have skeletonized centers.

- Caliber 3X62 · GPS Solar
- Deep blue sand-grain dial
- Two-layer bezel with six notches
- Bracelet with beveled edges

Astron HAB002
The HAB002 steps up to Caliber 5X63 and a 43.4 mm titanium case. The black dial has a geometric pattern with contrasting subdials, and the movement adds a 24-hour chronograph, world time and dual time to the GPS setting. A push-button Smart Switch lets you swap the titanium bracelet for another strap.

- Caliber 5X63 · GPS Solar
- Black geometric-pattern dial
- Chronograph, world time, dual time
- Titanium bracelet · quick-change

Astron HAB005
A 2026 limited edition of 1,200 pieces, finished in Crystal Green. Seiko says the new pressed dial pattern echoes the facets of quartz crystal. It shares the HAB002's 43.4 mm titanium case and Caliber 5X63, and the package adds a black silicone strap and a nylon presentation box.

Astron HAB006
The pink twin of the HAB005, also limited to 1,200 pieces. Seiko calls the Crystal Pink dial a fresh, radiant shade inspired by rose quartz, with the same crystal-facet pattern. The case, movement and functions match the HAB005, and it also includes a black silicone strap and a nylon presentation box.

CareCare
At 10 bar, Seiko rates these watches for everyday use. Give the dial regular exposure to light so the solar cell stays charged, and check the power reserve indicator now and then.
Final thoughtsFinal thoughts
Astron turns the idea of a travel watch into something that fixes itself: GPS sets the time, light powers the movement and a titanium case keeps the weight down. Pick the compact SSJ014 or SSJ023, or go to the HAB models for the full travel toolkit. Stock is limited on all five.
